Galatasaray finally sees winning streak end

THE END
Galatasaray falls short in its bid to break its record of successive wins as it is held to a draw by a solid Eskişehirspor side. There is another streak still alive, however, as Fenerbahçe continues unbeaten at home
As admitted by coach Fatih Terim, Eskişehirspor was the better side on the pitch as it held on to a draw against Galatasaray.
It had to end sometime, as long streaks always do.

Union of Clubs proposes lifting relegation ban

RELAGATION
The Union of Clubs does not want to impose point deductions instead of the relegation ban in matchfixing, as the Football Federation prepares for a key convention
Hasan Akıncıoğlu, the vice chairman of the Union of Clubs, says that the Union does not want to change the 58th article of the Disciplinary Code, but it suggests the Turkish Football Federation does not impose it for this time. Eight top-flight clubs risk being relegated from the Super League if the controversial article is not amended.

Fenerbahçe wins as it struggles off the pitch

4-0
While defending champion Fenerbahçe deals with an ongoing match-fixing probe, things go on the Istanbul club’s way in the Spor Toto Super League title competition
Fenerbahçe’s Brazilian midfielder Alex de Souza (L) celebrates after scoring his second goal against Kayserispor.
Fenerbahçe won 4-0 against Kayserispor in the Spor Toto Super League while the major focus of the club was still the ongoing investigation into match-fixing allegations.
